Woolworths’ loyalty changes threaten to erase Qantas Frequent Flyer points
MILLIONS of Qantas frequent flyer points amassed by Woolworths shoppers could be lost as a result of the grocery giant’s decision to end its partnership with the airline.
From the start of next year, Woolworths will issue its own loyalty dollars to Everyday Rewards card holders rather than Qantas points after undertaking research into the arrangement.

ELEVEN asylum seekers have reportedly fled Indonesian immigration detention, where they were held after a failed bid to sail to Australia.
The 11 Bangladeshi men were among a group of 18 people, also from Pakistan and India, found floating off Cianjur, West Java, on September 23.
They had set out for Christmas Island but were hampered by big waves, and they floated for three days without fuel before local fishermen found them.

Last month uni student Jonah Reider, 21, decided to open a “restaurant” in the small living area of his campus accommodation at Columbia University. Now he’s booked out through Christmas.

The Kurdish regional government in northern Iraq released a video Sunday purportedly showing the joint raid of a prison by U.S. and Kurdish peshmerga forces in which they released 70 hostages held by the Islamic State group.
The helmet camera footage allegedly shows the Thursday raid of the prison which was controlled by Islamic State militants in the town of Huwija, 9 miles west of the Iraqi city of Kirkuk.
