Hiding on the first floor of the Bataclan theatre, he posted haunting updates to his Facebook account of the horror that was unfolding.
“I’m still at the Bataclan . 1st floor. Serious injuries !” he posted giving a real time account of the terror attack that has horrified Australia.


Mr Cazenoves said they were shooting at anyone, picking them off “one by one”. He begged for help saying he was on the first floor, alongside other survivors.
Friends flooded his page with messages of support before he posted that he was “alive, with “just cuts.
But so many were not as lucky.
“A carnage ... Dead bodies everywhere.”
Authorities stormed the concert hall to bring an end to the attack after more than 100 people were taken hostage by gunmen early this morning Australian time.
Police confirmed the gunmen inside the hall blew themselves up with suicide belts as police stormed the venue, killing four people.
Before entering the venue, they sprayed cafes outside with machine gunfire.
They killed more people inside before the assault by security forces.
AFP reports about 100 people are dead in the concert hall, likely to be the majority of those held hostage.
Hostages were describing their fear from inside the building through text messages to loved ones.
They said it was “10 minutes of terror” when the gunmen stormed the Eagles of Death Metal concert and began opening fire at random with AK-47s.
The Daily Telegraph reported the gunmen shouted “Allahu akbar”, God is greatest, as they shot at the hostages.
It was reported gunmen were shooting people inside the theatre one by one.
It has also been reported police are describing massive amounts of carnage in the hall as attackers had toxic explosives.
When police raided the hall people on the outside could hear a number of gun shots and screams.
The Bataclan concert hall is located in an area of Paris well known for its night-life.
It’s understood the members of Eagles of Death Metal escaped offstage as the attack began.
