Famous world landmarks are being lit up in red, white and blue in solidarity with France
From London to San Francisco, cities across the world have already expressed their support for France in the wake of these attacks. Among them was New York City, which lit up the spire of One World Trade Centre in blue, white and red on Friday night.

Earlier, the US hockey team Washington Capitals tweeted this beautiful photo of the ice hockey stadium glowing in the colours ahead of four NHL games.
Canada has made its support clear, with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expressing solidarity with Canada’s “French cousins” and saying the nation would offer any possible assistance following the attacks.

San Francisco City Hall was also lit up to demonstrate the city’s support, as was the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas.
