Mother Paw Eh, 31, ‘tried to kill children with ant poison’

Mother Paw Eh, 31, ‘tried to kill children with ant poison
A MOTHER allegedly tried to kill her three children by forcing them to drink ant poison, leaving one in a critical condition.
Paw Eh, 31, has been charged with attempted capital murder when her four-year-old son was rushed to hospital after ingesting the toxin on Saturday, police said.
Eh’s 12-year-old daughter told police she watched her mother put poison on a spoon, add water and force the boy to drink it, in the kitchen of their Lake Highlands, Texas apartment.

According to the arrest warrant, obtained by Dallas Morning News, Eh slapped the boy on the cheek when he kept his mouth shut, before forcing the spoon into his mouth.
Police said Eh also tried to poison her daughter and seven-year-old son, but was unsuccessful.
The girl said her mother told the children earlier in the day she was going to kill them and herself. The seven-year-old boy told police, “my mum wants to kill us with poison powder that kills ants and stuff.”
The children ran to their grandmother’s apartment, in the same building, to tell her what happened, according to CBS. The four-year-old boy was rushed to Medical City Dallas Hospital, but was listed as stable on Sunday.
According to neighbours, Eh had medical problems, couldn’t sleep at night and often thought about suicide. They also said she would pass out and not remember what happened to her.
Eh was originally from Myanmar and could not speak English. It is not clear if she had a partner, although another neighbour said a man who he thought was Eh’s husband used to supervise her.
Eh is being held in the Dallas County Jail on $US150,000, and her older children are in the care of Child Protective Services.
