ALL lit up in neon green and pink, Aurora Australis is truly a sight that belongs on your bucket list.
The stunning show - also known as the Southern Lights - can be seen from parts of New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania, occurring when plasma particles from the sun enter the Earth’s ionosphere.
In other words, a battle is brewing in the skies, as the Earth’s upper atmosphere fights off shots of the Sun’s raw energy, generating the spectacular glow.
