The prime minister has announced a new package of counter-extremism measures to combat what he called the "unprecedented" threat facing the country.
The plans will give parents more scope to cancel their children's passports if they are worried youngsters are at risk of radicalisation.
Convicted extremists will also be banned from working with children and vulnerable people.
Daniel Sandford reports.
