2015 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge
Since 1987, engineers from around the world have made a bet: that their team can design and build a solar car and take the approximately 3,000 kilometers in Australia, from Darwin to Adelaide. Mission biennial World Solar Challenge is not to race, but to push solar forward. The event is held every two years, and in 2015, qualifying rounds began on October 17 Challenge I ran from October 18 to 25, with 42 teams representing 24 countries / regions. They also gave teams the opportunity to test drive their cars through the vale ECOPIA tires, as well as access to the Bridgestone proving grounds, which give a very scientific and incredibly accurate results.
