Four of the most popular online videos of the week
THE word ‘viral’ is incorrectly thrown around a lot these days whenever something gets posted to social media.
A video going viral is a bit like attempting to catch lightning in a bottle — it’s not easy to do and almost impossible to replicate.

But we’ve collected some of the most popular videos of the week from around the web for your viewing pleasure.
WARNING: Some footage below is very graphic and viewer discretion is advised.

Nine police officers arrest jaywalking teen in Stockton, CA

How many police officers does it take to arrest a 16-year-old jaywalker?
That question was answered when a video was uploaded of nine — yes, you read that right, NINE — police officers arresting a teenage rebel who was jaywalking in Stockton, California.
In the video, a police officer is seen attempting to restrain the teen with a baton, asking him to “stop resisting,” while a woman shouts at the police officer, saying “Get off of him! He’s a kid!” When police backup arrives, a scuffle ensues with four officers restraining the teen on the ground while five others stand by.
The boy was reportedly arrested before being released to his mother, pending charges.
A Stockton Police Department spokesperson claimed the first officer’s bodycam fell off in the exchange, and that “preliminarily, it looks like the officers were within policy.”
